Frequently Asked Questions

1.     Q:  Are there any "hidden" charges in your fee structure?

A:  No.  It is a flat fee per position request.  Our fees, in many cases, are less than those charged by the online resume banks/boards, and they are certainly less than those charged for a classified ad in any major metropolitan newspaper (and none of those will screen/sort responses for you).  For select clients with consistent needs for our assistance, volume discounts may be negotiated.

2.     Q:  If not satisfied with ANY of the resumes delivered, can we resubmit the same position request?

A:  Yes. Once with refined information, we will redo a search.  However, we have learned that it is usually best to wait at least one week for a "second pass" to be useful.

3.    Q: Does your company also engage in retained, contingency or other "executive search" practices?

A:   NO!  Absolutely not!  We will, however, provide referrals to search firms we might consider appropriate for situations we realize demand such other outside involvement.

4.     Q:  What will you do if a client, after reviewing the results, downloads  or otherwise copies the resumes without first providing billing information and authorizing payment for your services?

A:  We will wait for the client to request the contact information for those resumes by providing billing information and authorizing payment.

5.    Q:  Our staff already perform this function, so why should we be interested in having anyone else do it for us?

A:  Please review the Background section of this website.  Pointedly, please note also that our intent is to relieve lower level sourcing tasks of our clients and some initial assessment activities, so that client staff might focus on more sensitive assignments, perhaps those that might require greater personalized attention.

6.    Q:  With the proliferation of online HR management tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System), TMS (Talent Management Solutions) and CRM/TRM (Candidate/Talent Relationship Management) and many more under development, what differentiates your services from others?

A:  FirstCLARITY OF PURPOSE.  Unlike others providing such services, our FOCUS on providing assistance with a single HR function enables our execution and delivery of that service less expensively and more quickly.   Second, our professionals are already adept at using such tools and are dedicated to remaining current on any new developments in this area of their expertise.  Third, our services are more personalized in that our clients ALWAYS have live HR professionals available to direct, instruct and question.  And finally, our services are provided at NO RISK to our clients.  If contact information is not requested for ANY of the resumes delivered, there are no charges for our services.

7.    Q:  Will you accept resume research assignments from staffing agencies?

A:  Our  business model was designed specifically to facilitate employers' and their HR departments' direct access to our services.  All staffing agency requests for assistance from our  professionals are evaluated for acceptance on a case-by-case basis.
